I joined after my first hike to L.A. ... Stu gave me his medals before I went in for basic ... I was asked not to wear them for graduation so as not to outshine the warrant officer ... I left after a year was completed out of the five year contract ... This was photographed in Cornwallis N.S. ... I was stationed in Winnipeg.

I put the mattress under the bed and had two easels where it was instead ... upon monthly inspections the captain thought I was pretty eccentric. Back in the wheelhouse ... "You actually sleep under there?" I forgot both paintings in a cab when I paid off.
